Diesha Williams, Site Leader
 |
Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, I’m a 22 year-old
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign graduate. I received a BA in
Communications and Psychology, with a Pre-Law concentration (I have a
passion for Child and Family Law). I serve as a role model, and lead the afterschool
dance program, as well as tutor during the school day. I serve because
I want to motivate and encourage students. Serving is not just for my students’ development, but also for my own. Being knowledgeable of the
issues students face in education, and in their environment, makes me better
able to serve them and meet their needs. |
