School Advisory Council

Education is a community matter.

At Chicago Talent, we believe that parental involvement and community-generated action are the keystones of our school, and we encourage parents and community members to participate in their child’s education.

Parents are a school’s best advocates.

The School Advisory Council formally allows parents to support the school, plan school-community initiatives, and address concerns directly with the school administration on a regular basis. The Council also meets regularly to organize events and forums that connect parents to their child’s education and engage them within the life of the school community.

We believe in working and learning together.

Chicago Talent is where students come to learn, but through the School Advisory Council, we work to reinforce the idea that ultimately, learning begins—and continues—at home. For more information about participating in the School Advisory Council please contact the school office at (773) 534-0845, or Ray Thompson at (773) 778-0540. For information regarding our next meeting, please visit our Events page, or consult our school Calendar.
