Antoinette Collier, School Secretary

Antoinette Collier is the Secretary of Chicago Talent Development High School. She comes to Chicago Talent with a wealth of administrative experience. With a background in accounting, Antoinette has a keen eye for detail and is extremely organized. A mother herself, Antoinette understands the struggles of raising children and the necessity of providing them with a quality education so they will emerge as competitors in the arena of higher education and on into the workforce. |

Chad Adams, English/Language Arts Instructional Coach

Chad was an instructional coach for America’s Choice, a nationally acclaimed school reform company working in conjunction with the Chicago High School Transformation Project. He helped facilitate the implementation of a Readers’ and Writers’ Workshop in 9th through 11th grade classrooms. Chad served as a reading instructor for four years and worked extensively on the Chicago Reading Initiative project, developing and implementing professional development throughout the district. He received National Board Certification in 2005 and has published a mock assessment for the National Board Resource Center. He has also trained cohorts of teachers in pre-candidacy portfolio entries. Prior to working in Chicago, Chad worked in an alternative high school for at-risk teens as an English Language Arts Instructor, and in 2001 was awarded the Wal-Mart teacher of the year for southern Indiana. |

Craig Williams, Business Manager

Craig has worked with students in underserved areas of the city with the Chicago Public Schools. He hails from the West Side of Chicago, originally, growing up in the Rockwell Housing Projects. Craig graduated from Providence-St. Mel High School, and has an M.A.S in Education under the Chief School Business Official Program at Northern Illinois University and has worked in Corporate Banking for a number of years. |

Michelle Reed, Organizational Facilitator

Michelle Reed serves as the Organizational Facilitator at Chicago Talent. She is responsible for tracking student data and supporting the implementation of the Johns Hopkins University Talent Development model. She has a Masters Degree in Education from DePaul University and is currently completing a second Masters at DePaul in Educational Leadership. For two years she served as a gifted education coordinator at Northwestern University and worked closely with the Evanston school districts. In addition, Ms. Reed has seven years of classroom experience as an elementary and middle school teacher in the Maywood, IL school district. |
